Dr. Ntasiobi C.N Igu serves as Lecturer 1 at the Department of Educational Foundation, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. She is currently the Acting Head of Department, Arts and Humanities Education. She obtained her Ph.D in Educational Administration & Planning from Ebonyi State University Abakaliki in 2012. Prior to joining the University, she worked as a teacher educator for many years at Ebonyi State College of Education Ikwo where she rose to the position of Principal Lecturer and served in many administrative positions. Dr. Igu has attended and presented papers in many national and international conferences and workshops. She has her publications in many national and international peer-reviewed Journals. She was privileged in 2019 to participate in the European Union Erasmus + Staff Exchange Mobility Programme in the University of Kent United Kingdom. She is a member of the University Students’Disciplinary Committee and equally serves in many of the Faculty of Education’s standing and statutory Committees. She belongs to many Professional Associations at national and international levels (National Association of Educational Administration & Planning, Common Wealth Council of Educational Administration and Management, International Honour Society in Education, Educational Leaders without Borders and International Network of Teacher Education Institutions). Her areas of research interests include but are not limited to: Educational Leadership, Classroom Management, School Plant Management and Mentoring. Dr. Ntasiobi likes reading, writing, cooking and singing.
