Biography (Education/professional experience/professional accomplishments)
Adeline Nnenna Idike is an Associate Professor, Public Administration and Local Government (Human Resources Management) in the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences. She has a background in Law, Sociology, Public Administration and Gender issues. Over the years, she has specialized in teaching Public Administration, Development issues, Local Government Administration and Administrative Law to MPA, MSc and undergraduate students at University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN). At AEFUNAI, she is currently teaching Public Administration and International Law, Local Government Administration and Development issues and has external examining experience in Human Resource Management. She has published widely in her research area of Human Resources Management, Gender and Organizational Behaviour, and Public Policy, including International Journal of Public Administration (IJPA). She is particularly interested in these issues within public sector administration, governance, HRM and Development. She is a member of the Nigeria Political Science Association, Association of Female Lawyers of Nigeria and Nigeria Bar Association. She is the founder/sustainer of Adeline Advocacy for the Dignity of the Destitute Foundation (aadodf) – an NGO that has been in the service of the underprivileged for the past 28 years. In the past 2 years AADODF has collaborated with NOA and UNICEF in the advocacy for healthy living, adult literacy and poverty alleviation among the teeming destitute in Nigeria rural areas.
