Bukola Dorcas Semidara is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Sociology/ Criminology and Security Studies, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences. She has a background in Mass Communication, Sociology and Sociology of Development to be specific. She specialized in teaching Sociology to undergraduate students which she has been doing for a good number of years. She has taught Sociology of Mass Communication, Culture and Language In Society, Stratification and Inequality, Nigerian Heritage, Urban Sociology among other courses at Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike Ikwo, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State since she joined the University workforce.
Semidara is a member of Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Practitioners Association (NASA).She has published in reputable journals as Scimago, International Journal of Innovative Research and Development, Journal of Humanities and Social Science and also collaborated with colleagues from other areas of specialization.
