BIOGRAPHY (EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS)
Dr. Angela Eze currently serves as Lecturer 11 in the Department of Arts and Humanities Education, Faculty of Education, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. In addition to other academic qualifications, Dr Angela obtained her Ph.D in English Education from the University of Jos, in 2016. Her research areas include Reading, Writing, and general Language Curriculum. Dr Angela has published articles in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, and has participated and facilitated in a number of workshops. She held the position of the Ag HOD, Arts and Humanities Education 2017/2018. She is currently serving in a number of positions in the Faculty of Education, such as: Programme Coordinator; Course Coordinator; Handbook Committee; Accreditation Committee; Teaching Practice Committee; Disciplinary Committee; Monitoring and Evaluation/POT Committee, and Students Affairs Committee/Orientation & Matriculation Committee. Dr. Angela is an experienced educationist with many years of working experience in well-established academic institutions. She engages in Lecture Delivery, Students’ Teaching Practice Supervision, and Students’ Project supervision. She has delivered expert lectures on special topics at some of the Faculty’s organized occasions. Dr Angela has a number of professional skills. As key to her area of specialization, she has Language and Communication skills. These are the prerequisite skills for critical thinking, creativity, and team work for staff/students in all content areas and even across the curriculum in this 21st century. She also has computer skill, which is needed for application, analysis, organization and procession of teaching/learning.
