Biography (Education/Professional Experience/Professional Accomplishments)
Dr. Emmanuel Okechukwu Ogueji currently serves as Associate Professor and Ag. Head of Department at the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. He obtained his Ph.D in Fisheries from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 2008. Dr Ogueji research areas include Toxicology, Aquaculture and Environmental Remediation. Dr Ogueji was the Editor-in –chief 2019 FISON Conference Ebonyi State and has published articles in prestigious peer-reviewed high impact factor journals. He has worked as Principal Investigator/Researcher in TETFund sponsored Project titled “Ecotoxicological impacts of three selected pharmaceutical drugs (ivermectin, diazepam and ibuprofen) on freshwater African catfish Clarias gariepinus” (2016).
Dr. Ogueji has taught several courses in the area of Aquaculture, Fishing Gear/Craft Technology, Oceanography and Water quality Management. He has supervised and co-supervised undergraduate and Master’s Degree students. He has 31 years of working experience in well-established academic institutions. Dr Ogbonna has delivered expert lectures on topics related to his core research interests.
