Mercy Chioma Arua holds a Bachelor degree in Sociology from Imo State University, Owerri; a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from National Open University of Nigeria and an MSc in Sociology (Criminology) from Ebonyi State University, Ebonyi State. Presently, working in Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike (AEFUNAI) Ebonyi State. She has been serving as a lecturer in the department of Sociology/Criminology & Security Studies since January 2016 and as thought criminal justice system, institutional, industrial and commercial security, Remote sensing and geospatial science, retail security to undergraduate students. Her research interests are on gender and crime, criminal justice system.
