Biography
Dr. Patrick Njoku is a highly motivated and self-driven finance person with over 30 years of multifaceted working experience in developing and leading successful finance teams. He is skilled in numerous financial and accounting fields and has ability to handle complex assignments effectively.
With proven ability to constantly challenge and improve existing processes and systems, Patrick pioneered the establishment of Bursary Department at Michael Okpara University, Umudike, in Abia State (1994 – 2000). Similarly, he was the Group Head of Audit Department of the then Enterprise Bank Ltd (2006 – 2014) which later metamorphosed into Heritage Bank.
A Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Patrick’s banking career traversed all areas such as Operations, Credit/loan Administration, Finance and Account, Investigation/Inspection, Audit and Quality Assurance.
Patrick Possesses excellent communication skills and has ability to communicate professionally with different Stakeholders on detailed financial matters. He has exceptional capacity to plan, organize, coordinate and control large budgets efficiently. He is a peer group leader, well received and commands respect and loyalty among his colleagues. His strongest attributes are vision, integrity, courage and unbridled self confidence that do not fear to bow to superior argument.
Patrick is flexible, and adapts easily to new challenges. He cherishes integrity and hard work and has strong motivation and ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. He is versatile and has excellent numerical and analytical skills and very proficient in computer and ICT.
Patrick is currently teaching Accounting and Finance Courses at Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo, Ebonyi State.
He is married with children.
