BIOGRAPHY (EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS)

Professor Mabel. U. Dimelu is a Professor on Sabbatical at the Department of Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo, Ebonyi State. She obtained her MSc and Ph.D in Agricultural Administration from the Department of Agricultural Extension, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nigeria Nsukka. She has been engaged in research and teaching in academic institution for 19 years. Her areas of research interest include capacity building for agricultural development, evaluation of rural development programmes, innovation diffusion, rural livelihood, food security, gender studies and climate change. Professor Mabel. U. Dimelu is a member of many national and international professional bodies. She has travelled wide on sponsorship/scholarship for conferences, workshops and short courses; and has many publications in national and international peer reviewed journals.
