3D Printing Workshop

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

The international sensitization workshop on Leveraging the Nigerian Economy through Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) and digital Imaging Technologies is one that promises to be of immense benefit to the participants as it showcases the art of 3D printing and the opportunities that will be available to them through Additive Manufacturing and Digital Imaging Technologies.

The workshop will highlight the opportunities presented by the global skills knowledge gap and unveil the vision of German Overseas Centre for Industrial Skills (GOCIS), which has to do with helping young Nigerians acquire and export digital skills.

The workshop is the official opening to the training programme that will follow suit, which will take place in various locations across the country. The goal of the training is to challenge the rate of unemployment and underemployment in Nigeria, as well as improve on our digital skills engagement as a Nation. It is a collaboration between Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike and Steinbeis-Beratungszentrums IMAPS Institute for Material Applications & 3D Printing Solutions, Willy-Andreas-Allee 19 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany.
