VC, Prof. Chinedum Nwajiuba, addressing the meeting

Speaking before the appointment of the executives, Prof. Nwajiuba recalled the nature of learning environment in the campus before now to have been an eyesore and shadow of itself, where students sat on the ground to take lectures and blocks to take examinations, when lecturers  used their cars as offices while some lecturers were  not coming to work for lack of offices. Above all, there was no connect and accessible road to administrative zone.
