
AE-FUNAI VC COMMISSIONS FACULTY OF EDUCATION’S MICRO-TEACHING LAB, COUNSELING CLINIC
The Vice-Chancellor of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Professor Chinedum Nwajiuba has commissioned two-signature projects of the Faculty of Education meant to enhance students’ learning experience.
The micro-teaching laboratory and counseling clinic were established by the faculty in its drive to ensure excellent practical learning experiences among students of the faculty.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the Faculty Dean, Dr. Chinyere Nwajiuba noted that the projects were financed from the funds generated from the maiden international conference organized by the faculty in February this year, stressing that the laboratory and clinic would to a large extent improve the success rate of the students.

She further explained that through the laboratory and the clinic, students of the Faculty would be imbued with excellent hands-on skills and functional knowledge to excel in their various education fields.
While commissioning the projects, the Vice-Chancellor noted that the university was getting better, stressing that better days are ahead. He also used the opportunity to congratulate the faculty for the feat, urging them to keep up the good works.

He further stated that Faculty of Education was meant to offer special things in a university system, noting that he was happy they were rising to the occasion by establishing the laboratory and clinic to enhance the capacities of students. He also warned educationists against training students in a spiritual vacuum, maintaining that it was the major challenges being faced by the advanced nations of the world.
