
AE-FUNAI VC TOURS ROUND PROJECTS
In the tradition of the Vice-Chancellor, Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Professor Chinedum Nwajiuba to carry out routine inspection of infrastructural development projects driven by his administration within and outside the campus, he recently toured the project sites to have first-hand-information of the ongoing projects. The routine inspections have helped in producing speedy positive results as projects are completed and delivered in good time and quality.

Prof. Nwajiuba, in company of some officers of the university, early in the week visited the proposed site for Centre for Educational Services situated opposite Nkwagu military cantonment, Abakaliki, during which he directed that design be drawn for the immediate commencement of work and more lands acquired for the development of the Centre.

Thereafter, the Vice-Chancellor and his team proceeded to inspect several other projects which included perimeter fencing of the university, completed Faculty of Humanities administrative and classroom blocks and Faculty of Agriculture farm.

Nwajiuba expressed satisfaction with the level of work done and commended the Directorate of Physical Planning, Works and Services for being on their toes and ensuring execution of quality jobs.

He directed that faculty of Humanities move into the building next month while assuring increase in capacity development for the faculty and provision of vital farm equipment including tractor for Agriculture farm, to enhance productivity.
