Rosemary Ogochukwu Igbo is a Professor of Adult and Non-formal Education at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike Ebonyi State Nigeria. A citizen of Nigeria, born on 15thJuly, 1961 in Onicha-ugbo, Delta State. She earned a Bachelors degree in Foundations of Education and MEd degree in Educational Administration & Supervision from the University of Nigeria. She also obtained MEd and PhD degrees in Adult & Non-formal Education from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, and Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) in Home Economics (Vocational Education) from Federal College of Education, Katsina; an affiliate of Bayero University, Kano Nigeria. She attended Baptist Girls High School and Pilgrims Baptist Primary School, both in Agbor, Delta State Nigeria. She also attended CAC Mission School, Benin-City.

Rosemary has authorship of nine educational texts, chapters in eleven books and fifty-two journal publications. In 26 years of University teaching and 10 years at the basic/secondary levels, she has provided quality academic leadership. She has also participated in researches of high impact as Lecturer, Editor, Head of department, Director, Coordinator of various units, programmes and segments in her field. She currently teaches Adult and Non-formal Education Research Methods and Data Processing, while doubling as Chairman, International Centre for Development Affairs (ICDA); the facilitating agency for Central Bank of Nigeria Entrepreneurship Development Centre (SEEDC) in the South-East. Her researches focus on development issues that include Non-formal education ventures, Gender concerns and Literacy efforts.
She has served in numerous university committees in Nigeria and abroad. She was the Head of Department of Continuing Education and Community Development, IBB University Lapai and Head of Department of Educational Foundations, Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu. External Assessor to University of Cape Coast; Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island; University of Port Harcourt; Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka; University of Maiduguri, Maiduguri; Bayero University, Kano and the University of Nigeria Nsukka. Prof Rosemary Ogochukwu Igbo is Married to Prof Eddiefloyd Maduabuchi Igbo, a Professor of Criminology. They have four adult children namely: Floyd, Thelma, Westley and Bradley Igbo.
