About Department of Physiology

Physiology department started as a unit in the combined department of Anatomy/Medical Biochemistry/Physiology until October 2014 when it became a full-fledged department of Physiology.

The Department of Physiology was established to run a Bachelor of Science Degree Programme.

The B.Sc. Degree programme was designed to inculcate in the students the awareness and enthusiasm for their field of interest. Through this exposure, they will acquire the knowledge and skills that are fundamental for professional practice and further studies as the case may be.

It is expected that at the completion of the programme, students will have an appreciation of the importance of this intellectually stimulating experience of a career in Physiology ..

The Department of Physiology houses professionals who are world class lecturers and technologists, all working together for the good and growth of the department.
