Nwoga, Chibuzor Cosmas is a lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences. He holds a Doctorate degree in Mass Communication (Electronic [Broadcast] Sequence, Imo State University, Owerri; M.Sc. degree in Mass Communication, National Open University of Nigeria, Lagos, and another M.Sc. degree in Marketing-Public Relations, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, as well as a B.Sc. degree in Mass Communication, Imo State University, Owerri.

He joined the services of FUNAI in November, 2018 from Imo State Polytechnic, Umuagwo, where he was the pioneer Co-ordinator of Mass Communication Department.

He has years of experience both in academics and administration and has published in his research area of Broadcasting, Traditional African Communication and Development Support Communication. He is a member of the African Council for Communication Education (ACCE) and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). Married to Mrs. Judith Nwoga and currently has two children: a daughter Angelica Chidalu and a son Michael Obinna.
