Ezinne Abaneme is an Assistant Lecturer in the department of Mass Communication. She joined the academia on the 24th of November, 2018 and is much enthusiastic in familiarizing herself with the rudiments of being an academia and also leaving a footprint as a guide to others. She holds an M.Sc in Public Relations and Advertising and a B.Sc in Mass Communication. Currently, she is in the research stage of her doctorate degree programme in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Ezinne is grounded in research and her interest area includes but not limited to; Health Communication, Social Media and Society, Advertising, Research tools and methodology in Communication research, among others. She is knowledgeable in the area of quantitative and qualitative methodology and also, can apply SPSS to compute and analyze data.
On the area of publication, Ezinne has some unpublished work in areas of “Multi methodology in Communication Research” “Mobile Health Application” “Risk Communication and Carbon Monoxide Poisoning” etc, which she aims to publish in a Thompson Reuters indexed journal.
In her quest to familiarize herself in the academic world, she has participated and attended several conferences and recently she became a registered member of African Council for Communication Education and also is in the process of becoming a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria.
