Mr Akor, Ikechukwu Charles obtained (B.Sc) Political Science, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (M. Sc) Political Economy, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is a doctoral student at the School of Postgraduate Studies also in University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Before joining the Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo Ebonyi State, he worked with OBFO International Academy Nsukka, Enugu State as a Vice Principal (2008-2010) from where he joined Renaissance University Ugbawka, Enugu state as an Assistant Lecturer. His area of research interest include: African political economy, State and the economy, politics of international economic relations. He has published in journals, Book chapters and more.
