Dr Evelyn N. Urama currently serves as Lecturer I at the Department of English and Literary Studies, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. She obtained her Ph.D in Comparative Literature from University of Nigeria, Nsukka in, 2016 followed by a two months Postdoctoral Fellowship Residency Programme of the African Humanities Program/American Council of Learned Societies at the Department of Political & International Studies, Rhodes University, Grahamstown, South Africa, from August 28 – October 27, 2018. Dr Urama’s research areas include Comparative Literature and Gender Studies, African and Diasporic Studies, Children’s Literature and Cultural Astronomy. Dr Urama is a member, AE FUNAI Critic Editors and Department of English and Literary Studies Median Journal Editors. She is a reviewer of many peer-reviewed journals and has published articles in prestigious peer-reviewed journals. She is a Fellow, American Council of Learned Societies (ACSL)/African Humanities Program (AHP)
Dr. Evelyn N. Urama is specialized in African, African American and Caribbean Literature (Literature of the Black People of the World). She has 7 years of working experience in well-established academic institution (Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike). Dr Urama has delivered seminars on topics related to her core research interests.
