AE-FUNAI LECTURER SET FOR Ph.D STUDIES IN FRANCE ON TETFUND SCHOLARSHIP

Dr. Nnenna Nwosu-Nworuh, Director French Center, Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, on Thursday, 21st November, 2019, presented Mrs Getrude Okechukwu Nwife, an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Anatomy, to the Vice-Chancellor AE-FUNAI Prof. Chinedum Nwajiuba, at the VC’s Office. Also present during the presentation was Prof. Sunday Elom, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, (Academic).

Mrs Okechukwu would be leaving Nigeria for her Ph.D in Neuroscience at the Universite de Strasboury, France. The 3 years study period abroad is funded by Tetfund.

Prof. Nwajiuba congratulated Mrs Nwife for the hard work and milestone achievement, despite family demands. He also encouraged her to study hard, finish her programme in good time and come back to work. Prof. Elom prayed for journey mercies, divine empowerment and protection for her while in France, encouraging her to be good ambassador of the University and return at the end of her studies.
