Dr. Nkechinyere Onuu Oko, a corps member serving in AE-FUNAI medical Centre, donated wirelessintercom to the Vice-Chancellor as part of her support to the good works the Vice-Chancellor is carrying out all around the university.

The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nwajiuba, who received the Voice Over Internet Protocol gift of five sets in his office, thanked her for such a generous donation to the university even as a serving corps member and encouraged her to keep up the good spirit.

The director for ICT Engr. Ngozi Eli-Chukwu in her closing remark stated that the gift was indeed useful and not commonly found in the country. She explained that principal officers of the university can use it to communicate without having to spend money buying airtime andit is always mostly for official duties . “It can be connected to five offices as it is wireless and uses radio, it also saves the cost of airtime and from the Directorate of ICT we say thank you for this gift to the university”.
