ELOM SUES FOR PEACE, ORDERLINESS ON CAMPUS

The Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo Ebonyi State Professor Sunday Elom has charged the students of the varsity to maintain high level of peace and orderliness on campus even as he called on them to be keenly interested in their academic voyage as such he said, will launch them in the world of greatness and make them good ambassadors of their alma mater.

Professor Elom who made the call when the students representative government led by Okafor David, when the latter paid a courtesy visit to him in his office charged them to steer clear from violence and other antisocial behaviours, also called for calm and peace.

He maintained that only peaceful disposition and total concentration on their academics while paying zilch attention to socials and ephemerals will launch them into the world of greatness.

He reiterated Management’s support in ensuring the welfare of the students is given priority.

Earlier in his remark, the president of the Union, Okafor David said the students under his leadership will not leave mud on the face of the Management by engaging in unwholesome practices and illicit lifestyles. David further assured the Management of the University that he and his team will complement the efforts of the Management in bettering their lots.
