SOUTH-EAST NUGA SET TO KICK-OFF AT AE-FUNAI
Representatives of South-East Nigeria Universities Game (NUGA), recently paid courtesy call on Vice-Chancellor, Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Prof. Chinedum Nwajiuba to intimate him on their preparedness to kick- start South-East Universities Game at AE-FUNAI following V C’s earlier approval for the hosting right.

Introducing NUGA officials, Director of Sports, AE-FUNAI, Yinka Olawoyin, noted that the team of Directors of Sports was on ground to ascertain the level of preparedness of the institution towards hosting the game for 2019.

VC, who is known for his great passion for sports, readily approved the scheduled dates for the competition from 4th-12th October, 2019 and told the team to channel their needs to Mr. Yinka for proper presentation to him for immediate attention.

Chairman of NUGA, Zone G (South- East) of Enugu State University), Emeka Ogbu thanked the Vice-Chancellor for his support to university games and sport activities since his administration began. “Thank you for your unreserved attitude and unwavering support to university sports and thank you for approving to host South-East Universities Game”. Students who engage in these competitions are budding and once the competition is over here, winners will immediately move to Abuja for another round of the competition.
