VC ADVISES ON NEED FOR CAUTION WHILE DRIVING ALONG NKWAGU-FUNAI ROAD
The attention of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Chinedum Nwajiuba, has been drawn to a number of accidents that have occurred along Nkwagu-FUNAI Road since its reconstruction and is saddened by the incidents, though to the Glory of God, no life has been lost.
The Vice Chancellor is therefore cautioning staff to apply utmost discretion and care as well as tolerable speed limit while driving on this road to prevent avoidable accidents on this highway.
He expresses the view that this road, which has been reconstructed by the magnanimity of the State Government, should be a blessing to FUNAI rather than a curse and that the only way to enjoy the road is to drive with care and caution.
Equally, the Vice Chancellor advises staff commuting in public transport to always warn and caution their drivers when over-speeding or driving recklessly.
Finally, the Vice Chancellor loves and treasures all staff and students and would not like to lose anybody through road accident or in deed by any other means.
Please drive with care for your life is dear and your family and FUNAI are waiting for your safe arrival each day.
