The Vice-Chancellor further noted that the university was at a stage where it was defining its culture, image and reputation in order to shape its future to ensure that its academic activities were sustainable.

Espousing the theme of the summit, “It’s My Life”, the Anglican Bishop of Amichi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Ephraim O. Ikeakor, highlighted the evils of Civilization, Modernization, Modernism and post Modernism on the lives of 21st century youths.

He further maintained that the activities of the Counter Culture Movement have led to the introduction of some perverse behavious such as lesbianism, gay marriage, transgender activities, homosexuality and the likes, adding that relativism was another serious evil hindering the growth and development of youths.
